Personal Defense Readiness (PDR)- 5 week Course
(Minimum of 5 people)
This course is for anyone who is interested in learning real life self-defense skills that will enable them to deal with verbal and physical street altercations. Some of the topics included in this course:

Fear management and the psychology of intimidation

S.P.E.A.R. fundamentals

Effective striking CWCT (Closest weapon-closet target)

Drills that consist of the bear hug drill, close quarter combat stance, three step tackle drill, non violent postures, tactical get up, tracking from grounded, S.P.E.A.R Sharpening and dry fire, tacticla get up, kicks from grounded, and ground defense

At the students will role play through scenario and isolation esercises that will prepare the student for real life physical and verbal agression
Women’s Self-Defense (basic training)- 3 week course in 2 hr segments
(Minimum of 5 people)
Many women may feel defenseless in the face of violence against them. Instead, we at Lake Geneva Self Defense want you to feel empowered to protect and defend yourself. The Women’s Self-Defense course will build self-esteem, confidence, and reduce fear so that you can be a warrior, rather than a victim. The course includes:

Lecture, demonstrations and drills on:

rape prevention, fear management, psychology of intimidation, the three D’s (detect, defuse, and defend), and developing your inner warrior.

At the end of the course students will pressure test what they have learned through scenario and Isolation exercises that will prepare the student for real life physical and verbal agression.
